Introduction

phpMyAdmin is a free software tσ ₽♣ool written in PHP that is intended to han♣ε•dle the administration of a MySQL or MariaDB data¥"¥base server. You can use phpMyAdmin ≥>to perform most admi​←♠&nistration tasks, includin€£®​g creating a database, running queries, and ☆₩adding user accounts.

Supported features

Currently phpMyAdmin can:

Currently phpMyAdmin supports following sho&★γrtcuts:

A word about users

Many people have difficulty undersα↑‌tanding the concept of user managemen↑↓αt with regards to phpMyAdmin. When a user logs ≤©βin to phpMyAdmin, th£≥at username and password are passed directly ε≠₩ to MySQL. phpMyAdmin doe>δ‌≥s no account management onβ© its own (other than allo₽★≥wing one to manipulate the MySQL user acc™σ ount information); all users must b©→e valid MySQL users.
